| Review by Bennie Green, Face Magazine Bruce Cote has chosen to speak to children in a direct manner about things that ought to concern them as they pass through childhood. It's lyrically where Cote makes a mark. The basic message is to treat others well and to take a positive approach to life. There are no cute Barney songs about how to brush your teeth or sharing in the sandbox. This monologue is direct without being scary, something I honestly can't remember having been done before. Maybe this is an even better way to learn the lessons of growing up than any of the cutesy stuff that's come before. |
